God has entrusted Himself to me. Like John the Baptist, losing my head for His, willingly.
"Not that I've obtained it but I press on..." The Fullness of God is for anyone who will allow Him the fullness of self. It's for anyone who will walk out from being the tail and walk into being the Head. From death and into LIFE. From oppression and into POWER. From poorness and into WEALTH. From foolishness and into WISDOM. From weakness and into STRENGTH. From humility and into HONOR. From shame and into GLORY. From scorn and into PRAISE. Jesus is Worthy of it ALL because He overcame it all until He reflected all 7 Spirits of God His Father. Be the Head and not the tail. No need to cast lots or flip a coin, He already said what side is yours. Follow the Way of Fullness. When you lay down your life to live His, it's all yours. Give it all back to Him. "In a loud voice they were saying: "Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!"

There exists things that are True.
There exists things that are lies. There exists a Truth that is Double-edged. It cuts off the lies while pruning what is True. It rightly divides. It seeks for all that is Good to be saved. There is sword that seeks to destroy. It's a single edged sword. Its sharp side cuts off the lies. Its flat edge mutilates what is Good. We are called to the Double Edged Sword. It's the Sword that Saves. Put down your single blade before the children get mutilated too. The Kingdom of God belongs to them. It's clear to see how lawlessness can result in negativity.
But is it possible to also see a little positivity? Before this sounds like a megaphone excusing dark works, let patience have its Good work until the examination is complete. Lawlessness in society does not always produce weeds. Lawlessness can also be used to push up the Harvest seeds. Jesus did not come to condemn. He came to set the captives free. He cleared the path for all who will trust in His Righteousness to stand before the Judgement Seat of God unencumbered of the deadly price of sin's fee. "What's popular is not always right and what's right is not always popular" is a saying that could only be born out of adversity. Just as following the Law never made for Righteousness, neither will lawlessness erase the conviction that comes from The Still Small Voice demanding us to make a choice. Today, when The Still Small Voice continues to speak, will obedience be the thing that gets a mouth to rejoice? For all things are permissable but not everything is edifying. Do not choke The Still Small Voice and fall for anything and everything you might see or read. Allow The Still Small Voice to continue speaking by taking heed. Out of lawlessness, comes the will. Willing you to choose Life or death. This is the question always placed before you and me. No matter the choice, it will always be made willingly. Choose Life. Choose to be free. In Him, live the Life as one who is free indeed! Jesus. Apostle of God: one sent out by God
Docile: submissive; ready to accept control or instruction A message to the Apostles of God who need that final push to go when God says go. Jesus said even He was not a prophet with honor in His hometown. Too many people too close to the perfect flesh of Jesus (His carpentry skills, how He took His eggs and coffee, how He scratched His chin in that way when He was thinking, etc) to see, hear or accept the Business of God in Him. People who loved Jesus (including His mother Mary, if you can believe it) who struggled thinking He should not say THAT in public in THAT way even though they were the very Words God had sent Jesus to say. He found not wanting one of His to get away meant sometimes leaving the 99 who would stay. It never made sense why He'd leave a familiar nest to fly skies that may not offer Him rest. Or why Jesus would call His brother His mother as she stood outside the door waiting to speak to Him. He just knew when the wind blows, you gotta blow (this popsicle stand) too. Another one to relate, Paul was warned by those he loved "please, don't go that way!" So Paul knew he had to follow the Way to Rome. Apostles have no death wish but a wish to see everyone brought to the Living Tree. What seems pointless, worthless and maybe even foolish to some is the very Wisdom God is beckoning you to pursue. Even if protesting in your family and friends ensues when the departure date comes due. A child hearing God will know His Business and Voice must be the Route that he must take through. And take the message to vessels and pots who are waiting and ready to hear and accept a friendly stranger's brew (not witchcraft, mind you...but a tall Drink of Water from the Living Water's Crew). What can you do to support an Apostle of God ready to stand on his feet (or fly on Eagle's wings)? Love and pray for Godspeed for a mission complete so we can hurry up and all sit down at the blessed feast and put up our feet. If God instructs you to lend your hand or your donkey, be ready to do that too. For an ox must not be muzzled as he treads out the grain and a worker deserves his wage. For even the sojourner has an inheritance among you as they do the Father's Work beside you. And if one of these Apostles come through your land, don't be offended that God sent you His Helping Hand. See it as a blessing that God wants to offer a respite and a refreshing to you. If ever you feel envious of an Apostle's feet, you must understand the prison cells they have had to walk through (Isaiah 61) to know how to set the prisoners' free. Each was once a prisoner too and you might be surprised at how well they can relate to you. |
